Over the last weekend in June, which just happened to be one of the hottest of the summer, a new event for DJs took place at Newbury Racecourse. The two day event filled three floors of the main grandstand and attracted mobile jocks as well as bedroom, club and producer DJs. Although a little light on visitors, those who attended seemed to enjoy the show and the organisers are already making plans to bring the event back next year. The venue will be the same and the dates for your diary are Saturday the 25th and Sunday the 26th of April 2020.
The main ground floor of the venue was dedicated to lighting brands as well as DJ playback and music production equipment manufacturers, plus bargains galore availabe from DJkit's pop-up shop : THE DJ SHOW The middle floor featured a line-up oF gear-focussed educational sessions as well as representatives from associations or other DJ-related suppliers including Pro Mobile! A corner of the top floor was also dedicated to a ‘DJ museum’ Featuring a variety of old DJ controllers as well as a retro disco setup from chris Burford’s revival sounds The top floor focussed on PA, with most of the leading mobile DJ audio brands demonstrating their latest systems
